Kolster

Kolster’s products are intended for customers involved in the construction and operation of railway infrastructure. The product catalog contains over a thousand items, most of which are railway traffic control devices and spare parts. We also offer refurbishment of many of them. We specialize in mechanical and electromechanical devices, but we also carry out custom work. All products that are subject to certification have valid and updated certificates of approval for use issued by the Railway Transport Authority.

We develop new designs using modern three-dimensional design software (Autocad Inventor). This enables their quick implementation and modification, as well as the creation of derivative designs, and also improves our company’s cooperation with manufacturers and suppliers of other railway infrastructure components in this area. The high quality of our products and deliveries is confirmed by the ISO 9001 certificate and, what is very important to us, the positive opinions of our customers.

Experience since 1945

We have been specializing in the production of mechanical and electromechanical railway traffic control devices continuously since 1945. We supply our products to the Polish railway network and international companies in the railway traffic management systems sector.

Quality

The railway traffic control devices we manufacture are of vital importance for railway transport safety. That is why we adhere to strict control regimes to ensure the high quality of our products. This is achieved through our quality management system, which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and EN 1090. Quality is also monitored by our in-house laboratory. All products that are subject to certification have valid approval certificates. The implemented IT system guarantees the possibility of controlling the materials used and operations at all stages of production.

Modern technologies

We have our own production plant in Olsztyn equipped with modern metalworking machines – CNC machining centers, automatic lathes, presses, automatic welding machines, welding machines, and a paint shop. We have our own tool shop and prototyping workshop. Since 2012, we have also been benefiting from the experience and technological capabilities of four factories belonging to the Stalmot group.
